Remote Workers

A remote worker is someone who works external of a office. An employee might work from home, from a coffee shop, or from anywhere that is not a fixed office; although depending on the type of job they do, they might find themselves going into an office on event (if the company’s hub is geographically close to them). A firm might have a group of remote workers or a mix of both office workers and remote workers. Latest trends in remote workers are:

  •  Workplace cyber security will move upstream
  • “In-the-office” days may become more popular
  •  Employer expectations of digital skills are shifting from basic to advance
  •  Employers should start addressing the “trust issues”
  •  Nomadic remote workers will find new bases
  •  Get prepared for Gen Z competition
